Fees + Medicare
What Are Your Session Fees?
The fees for an initial consultation with our Clinical Psychology Support team is $350. Subsequent sessions are $285 (standard individual consultations) or $320 (family or couple-based sessions). All sessions are 50-minutes and fees are payable via Visa or Mastercard at the time of consultation. Sessions can be undertaken in person at our Neutral Bay rooms or online via our secure telehealth platform.
Fees for initial consultations with our Feeding + Sleep Support team are: $250 (1.5 hour antenatal feeding/sleep support consultation) or $300 (1.5-2 hour postnatal feeding/sleep support consultation). Subsequent feeding and sleep support consultations for ongoing issues are $150 (50-mins). Subsequent sessions covering new issues are $200 (50-mins). Sessions are available in person at our Neutral Bay rooms or online via our secure telehealth platform.
Our Feeding + Sleep Support team also offers in person at home support - due to travel time, additional fees apply. Please contact our administrative team if you’d like more information on fees for at home support.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
Unless there are significant extenuating circumstances, sessions cancelled without reasonable notice attract a cancellation fee: 100% of the session fee for sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, and 50% of the session fee for sessions cancelled with less than 48-hours notice.
Cancellations must be made via phone or email. If you’ve cancelled via email, we will always confirm your cancellation via reply email.
Can I Claim For Sessions With Medicare?
If you’re referred to our Clinical Psychology Support Team for treatment with a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan you can claim back part of your session fee (approximately $136) through Medicare. To access a Mental Health Care Plan, schedule an appointment with your medical provider. They’re who can assess your eligibility, but make sure you mention that you want to be assessed for a Medicare plan when you make your appointment, because you’ll need a slightly longer than normal appointment time.
You’ll find more information about how Mental Health Care Plans work below.
Unfortunately sessions with our Feeding + Sleep Support Team aren’t claimable with Medicare.
How Does A Mental Health Care Plan Work?
A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) allows you to access a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
